The Change Energy team engages in policy development that supports clean energy innovation. Members of the team volunteer their expertise in the development of government programs, regulations, and in consensus-based codes and standards for industry. This de-risks adoption of cleaner alternative fuel systems.
Working with government and industry, we identify commercially viable opportunities to deploy alternative fuels, and innovative business models that encourage market uptake. This creates a demand for clean fuel technologies, as well as fuel distribution infrastructure – for which we serve as designer and systems integrator.
The practical knowledge acquired on the frontlines of alternative fuel use then informs new policy development, furthering the cycle of sustainability and progressive decarbonization of society.

Al (P. Eng) is a Design Engineer and Project Manager specializing in alternative energy systems. He has over 35 years of expertise in planning, design, safety engineering, and project management of compressed gas vehicle refuelling infrastructure.
Ry Smith
Ry (P. Eng)is a specialist in the design, modeling and analysis of gaseous fuel stations and systems, assessing their technical, economic, and environmental attributes. With over 35 years of experience in the assessment and development of high-pressure gaseous refuelling station projects.
Bob Oliver
Working at the intersection of innovative vehicle technology and public policy, Bob specializes in assisting private companies, government and not-for-profit institutions advance practical solutions for decarbonizing transportation energy use. He is a professional engineer with 25 years of organizational leadership and project management .
Quinn Davidson
Quinn focuses on Change Energy’s strategic planning. She has extensive experience in the worlds of sports management, academia and business consulting. Quinn’s skillset is being applied to expand Change Energy’s offering to include H₂OnSet, a low-carbon hydrogen solution for the Film & TV industry.
Greg Stephanian
Greg (P. Eng) heads up Change Energy’s alternative energy design team bringing nearly 30 years of experience in process and mechanical engineering with a focus on alternative energy and transportation for the past 15 years. He is an experienced Project Manager with proven Design Engineering, Contract Management, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing expertise.
Gupar Punia
Gupar Punia graduated from Western University from the Faculty of Engineering specializing in Chemical Engineering. She focuses on business case assessment as well as detailed engineering design and project management. Prior to Change Energy, she spent time working as a Process Engineering Intern in the mining industry in areas of process improvement and alternative fuels.
Dave Meston
Dave is an electrical engineer specializing in risk assessment and safety management. He has over 40 years of experience in design risk analysis, investigation, audit, training and development of safety management systems. He also teaches safety at Ryerson University.
