We enable transition to the Low Carbon Future by helping our clients meeting their Environmental , Social and Governance (ESG) objectives.

Impact

Our team has innovated entirely novel approaches to achieving our clients’ low carbon goals, including:

  • Virtual pipelines – making natural gas accessible in the absence of traditional, terrestrial pipelines

  • Wireless grids – enabling electrification of operations through hydrogen, in the absence of traditional transmission lines

  • Fuel recycling systems - defuel, storage, and refuel at Natural Gas Vehicles repair garages

  • Fuel Value Index - an assessment tool that helps our customers make sound alternative fuel decisions.

Collectively, the government regulations, industry codes and standards, and clean fuel transition projects in which the Change Energy Services team has been directly involved, have reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions by an estimated 15 megatonnes, accumulated through the avoided combustion of gasoline, diesel and other petroleum based fuels.

15 megatonnes = 200,000 Cars off the road

The average Canadian vehicle emits 206 gCO2/km (IEA). And the average car lasts for roughly 320,000 km according to data from California Air Resource Board. That equals 66 tonnes of CO2 for the lifespan of the car.
