H₂ OnSet enables film and TV sets to be fed with hydrogen from local producers, uniquely designed, over-the-road delivery trailers. H2OnSet integrates hydrogen production, distribution, and use into a holistic, turnkey service.
We provide a complete zero-emission, portable electric power service tailored to the needs of the Film & TV industry.
Hydrogen is recognized as a low-carbon alternative to diesel for mobile power generation, but current supply chains mainly serve stationary, industrial-scale users. Since film and TV productions need fuel delivered on-demand to ever-changing locations, hydrogen solutions remain out of reach.
How it Works
We manage the sourcing, delivery, setup and maintenance of hydrogen solutions.
A hydrogen fuel cell generator and a Fuel Block are delivered to a location. Fuel supply is remotely monitored from our Operations Centre, as the genset-connected Fuel Block nears depletion, a new full Fuel Block is delivered. This drop-and-swap service enables uninterrupted generator operation.
Our focus on tailored-volume applications provides more businesses with access to low-carbon energy solutions, allowing for more participation in climate action.
Sourcing and Production

We work with CO₂ intense businesses to include the production of clean hydrogen within their operations, allowing them to focus on what they do best, while adding more to their value chain.
Ash Grove North, a Toronto based cement plant, is our first hydrogen producer. Tapping into their high voltage feed of power direct from Ontario’s low-carbon grid, hydrogen from electrolysis can be affordably produced.
Hydrogen Delivery

H₂OnSet is providing a continuous supply of hydrogen fuel, delivered in specially designed Fuel Block trailers that are compact and nimbly managed. Fuel arrives where, when, and as needed, with comparative ease.
Our low-carbon Hydrogen Supply is sourced from multiple production sites. Our Subject Matter Expertise makes this replicable in markets across North America.
